I would like to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to the remarkable team at @clamplight for the opportunity to create this mural.

The piece is titled “Rock Bottom,” and it represents a reinterpretation of a painting I completed in 2021 when I was reflecting on my first year sober.

This mural serves as a powerful testament to that journey. My intention with “Rock Bottom” is to authentically convey the complex and vulnerable experience of addiction. It’s a subject often shrouded in shame and silence, and I hope this piece, while potentially evocative and emotionally charged, can serve as a powerful reminder of our collective capacity to overcome even the most challenging and seemingly insurmountable experiences that life throws our way.
