Through my journey as an artist, I have overcome addiction and nihilism, gradually developing a deeper spiritual connection to the earth. This process of finding optimism has been filled with valuable lessons.

Recently, I have found solace in birding, which has deepened my appreciation for my surroundings. Over the past year, I’ve spent time in San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and New Mexico, encountering remarkable birds that inspire this series. Each bird represents a unique facet of the southwest, while the orb symbolizes energy and vibrancy. The branches reflect the intricate connections between all living organisms and a divine consciousness.
