In ancient Mesoamerica, a legend about the opossum exists. According to the tale, the opossum was a figure who took fire from the gods and bestowed it upon humanity out of empathy, despite being perceived as a thief. This narrative embodies themes of empowerment, generosity, rebellion, and compassion which I find relevant to our community and worth fostering.

Excited to share this piece that will be featured along some incredible artist at Galeria Eva for their 10th Anniversary.
