My sibling @consciousbat I are proud to announce the upcoming release of a physical book titled “Zero Proof Living” on June 18th, at the Carver Center, during the closing ceremony of “Una Raiz del Barrio.”
The book encompasses six years of illustrations that emphasize long term recovery. This series employs dark humor and satire to depict the often challenging and painful experiences associated with addiction and the journey to sobriety.
Collaborating on these illustrations with Mel has become an anticipated annual activity, which over time has connected me with individuals across the United States who are navigating their own paths to recovery and sobriety. I now feel a profound responsibility to those who have engaged with this project and with me personally. This project has inspired me to keep moving forward and staying sober.
